The Pastoral Care Team are available to support the Minister when needs for extra care are identified, beyond what the Elder and District Visitor can provide. Such care could be general befriending for those who are lonely, hospital and care home visiting, visiting those who are ill or caring for someone who is ill or very dependent. We also often meet in Café Blush, Morningside Road at 2pm on Mondays for a time of fellowship.
We have close liaison with, and referrals can be made, through the Minister, Elder and District Visitor. We meet every two months to discuss those referred and new referrals. If, as a member of the congregation (or with a link to us), you would welcome a visitor, please speak to your Elder or District Visitor or you can contact the Church office.
