Regular Sunday Services

Our Sunday morning worship takes place in person at 10.30am, using our “blended” approach of contemporary and traditional influences, which includes mixed styles of music (more details about this approach available here). This service, lasting about an hour or so, is also livestreamed, with recent recordings available to watch after the broadcast.

As you come in to a 10.30am service you can expect to see a member of the welcome team at the door who can guide you to a seat and offer advice. Most services consist of introductions and a ‘Call to Worship’, followed by hymns, bible readings, prayers and a sermon from the minister. There is usually an address for young people during the 10.30am service, with children generally leaving the service after the second hymn for age specific Young Church activities. At 10.30am services there is a crèche for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. More information about Sunday activities for children and young people is available here.

Communion Services

Quarterly Communion is held on the first Sundays of March, June, September, and December. There is a Communion service in the Braid Room at 9.30am (in-person only), and a Communion service in the Sanctuary at 10.30am (in-person and livestreamed).

Afternoon Services (Dementia Friendly)

Short services are held approximately quarterly on Sunday afternoons. These services, which are in-person and livestreamed, are dementia friendly, include the celebration of Communion, and are followed by tea/coffee, cakes and music in the Main Hall.

Seasonal Services

We also hold additional services, including seasonal ones for events such as Harvest, Christmas, and Easter. Details about upcoming services can be found on our News and Events pages.
