Monday Badminton
Greenbank Badminton Club is a mixed social club of a mid-high standard. We play doubles and mixed doubles, using high quality Yonex AS30 feather shuttles, in Greenbank Church’s Main Hall, Mondays 7–9pm, between September and April. Over 18s only, £7 per visit.
Ladies’ Badminton
The group meets from September to May on a Wednesday morning in the main hall from 9.30am–11.30am with occasional breaks eg Christmas and Easter holidays.
There is only one court so the badminton group play doubles. It is a morning of exercise and fun in equal measure. Pairs change every game so that a variety of partners and opponents make for a sociable and relaxed atmosphere and there is always time for a tea or coffee. Participants will need to bring their own racquet and have a little experience of the sport. A charge will be made for each half year session.
